Day 8

As I started the second day of my second week, I spent the day priming. Then waiting for it to dry. Flipping the chair over, priming the other side. Waiting for it to dry. I did this process a total of 4 times today which took up an hour and a half of actual painting time (not including the drying time.)

In between these drying cycles, I had to find time to occupy my time. On Thursday of this week I am taking one of the chairs frames to Proctor in order to weld a crack that has developed over time. I spend an hour in between priming the chairs to clean up and sand around the crack so that the welding will go smoothly and look professional. (Below is a picture of the crack)

The brushing of this took some time, and I also went through another sanding wheel, So I needed to make a quick trip to the hardware store.

At the end of day 8, I had put in 2.5 hours of work.

This brings my total hours to 20.5

Completed:
1. More priming
2. Cleaned up the area I need to weld

Tomorrows tasks (weather permitting):
