Day 7

As I started work on my project this morning I realized that that I was beginning week 2 of 3. Before this morning I felt like I had been in a good spot and making good progress. When I began thinking about this being my second week I was unsure wha to think. Was I on schedule, or behind, could I even be ahead?

Day 7 started with a small breakfast and a coffee, and I got right to work. I began my day in my garage priming the chairs. On one chair I was putting on the second coat of primer, and on the other I was putting on the first. Before priming tho, I spent half an hour dusting off dust and dirt from the chairs surfaces so that the primer could go on uniform and smooth.

Primer does not dry instantly, After this process was over I have to then wait for it to dry in order to continue. The priming of these two chairs where all I was able to get done today before I had to meet with Gordon Bassett, my project mentor.

For an hour, Gordon and I discussed a schedule for this week that would incorporate the following. Welding of a crack in the frame, cutting of the wooden slats, beveling the edges of the wooden slats, cutting of the rubber spacers, and more priming, as well as painting.

Here is the schedule below
